The Wild Awaits You!
Welcome to Southeast Alaska!
Southeast Alaska, also known as the Alexander Archipelago, is composed of hundreds of islands stretching over 370 miles. Its drastic elevation changes from the mountain tops to the seafloor are the result of glacial flows carving out the landmass since the ice age. One of the southernmost islands and the 3rd largest in the U.S., is our beautiful Prince of Wales Island. The area poses as a breeding ground to a plethora of wildlife, vegetation, and opportunity for a true Alaskan experience. Considered a temperate rainforest, Southeast Alaska has thousands of acres of old growth forest, littered with lakes, rivers and streams all leading to the waters of the Inside Passage and Gulf of Alaska. These bodies of water carry both local and migrant fish and marine life, creating year-round opportunity to see, catch and photograph the best the world has to offer.
Fish we Catch
There are numerous species of fish found in the surrounding waters of Prince of Wales Island. Of the various species, we target Salmon, Halibut, Ling cod and a variety of Rockfish on the ocean and steelhead, trout and salmon in our rivers and lakes. Due to yearly changes in regulations from the Alaska State Department of Fish and Game, size limits and retention of certain species vary from year to year.
